Genshin Impact Outfit Teaser: Teyvat Style – Beachside Ballad

Genshin Impact Teyvat Style – Beachside Ballad

MiHoYo have released a new teaser trailer showing off the outfits available in Update 1.6 of their gacha action-RPG, Genshin Impact.

Update 1.6 Midsummer Island Adventure marks the introduction of alternate outfits; a much-requested feature that has been in MiHoYo’s previous gacha action-RPG, Honkai Impact 3rd. Both Jean and Barbara will be getting alternate summer-themed outfits.

Barbara’s outfit is a reward for participating in the update’s limited time events, but will be available permanently to purchase later on. Meanwhile, Jean’s outfit is only available as a premium purchase for 1680 Genesis Crystals, which equates to a little over $20 USD. Her outfit will be discounted to 1350 Genesis Crystals during the 1.6 limited events.

You can find the teaser trailer for the new outfits below.

Update 1.6 is full of summer-themed events, and new content where players can explore a tropical archipelago aboard the Waverider. The island chain contains minigames and activities that can be completed to acquire character upgrade materials.

In terms of new characters; 1.6 introduces Kaedehara Kazuha, a 5-star Anemo sword-wielder and first playable character from Inazuma. He will be obtainable in an upcoming limited time character event wish banner.

Kazuha will be formally introduced in a new Archon quest that sets up the storyline for the eventual introduction of Inazuma, the game’s next region. He will supposedly play a big role in that region’s story quests and events.

The first limited character banner of the update is Sparkling Steps, which will give players another chance to acquire the 5-star character Klee. The 4-star characters Barbara, Sucrose, and Fischl will also have increased pull rates in the banner.

Update 1.6 Midsummer Island Adventure is now live on all platforms.

Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via the official website), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
