Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato teaser trailer shows off the beloved big brother

Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato teaser trailer

HoYoverse have released a new Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato teaser trailer, teasing the gacha action-RPG’s next character.

Kamisato Ayato is the head of the beloved Kamisato Clan and Commissioner for the Yashiro Commision, one of the main governing bodies of the island nation of Inazuma. He is also the big brother of the fan favorite character Kamisato Ayaka, and was only recently officially revealed a few months back after numerous in-game references to him.

Kamisato Ayato will be the gacha action-RPG’s next 5-star character, and will be a Hydro sword wielder that compliments his sister’s own skill set. Kamisato Ayato will be the star of update 2.6’s first limited time character wish banner, alongside the 4-star characters Xiangling, Yun Jin, and Sucrose.

Alternatively, players will have another chance to pull for Venti, one of the more desirable 5-star characters since his release early in the game’s lifespan. Meanwhile, Ayato’s sister Ayaka will be returning later in 2.6 as a rerun banner, giving players a chance to grab both siblings for their party.

Here’s the Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayato teaser trailer:

Update 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” launches on March 30th. Besides the new character, players will get to explore The Chasm, a new region in Genshin Impact that has been hinted at for quite some time. The Chasm is a massive abandoned mine in Liyue, and will feature the next stage of the game’s main storyline as players team up with Dainsleif to investigate the Abyss Order’s latest scheme.

The other big highlight of 2.6 is the Magnificent Irodori Festival, a limited time event taking place in Inazuma. This festival is essentially Inazuma’s equivalent of Lantern Rite or Windblume, and will feature a variety of activities, minigames, and story quests to complete for rewards like Primogems, upgrade materials, and even a free Xingqiu.

Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store and official website), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, AndroidiOS, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
