With the insane popularity of Genshin Impact, it’s no surprise the game would do collaborations with major companies. It’s not uncommon with other games either, such as Blue Archive getting Hatsune Miku as a playable character.

Now it’s been revealed that there will be a Pizza Hut event with the game. According to a promotional image shared, there will be an event between the fast food pizza chain and the game coming soon.

Not much is known right now, but more information is expected to be shown when the Genshin Impact event comes closer some time on August 2022. Unfortunately for western players, this event will only be available in China. So the items appear to likely only be exclusive in that region for the time being.

That said, Genshin Impact also had a KFC collaboration done in a similar vein – an event so successful that some parts were canceled due to overwhelming amounts of people overwhelming KFC locations in China.

While items were originally exclusive to China, they were eventually released to global players with the requirement of purchasing Twitch subs. This naturally caused controversy with fans.
