MiHoYo have announced that gacha action RPG Genshin Impact will be heading to the Epic Games Store.
To celebrate the new platform, in-game redemption code “GenshinEpic” can be redeemed for a “special gift.” As player’s data is saved to their account, this should mean players are able to transfer their existing accounts to the Epic Games Store if they so choose.
In earlier news, miHoYo detailed the contents of their upcoming 1.6 Midsummer Island Adventure patch, also reportedly launching June 9.
Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via the official website, June 9th via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
