MiHoYo have detailed Eula Lawrence, an upcoming five-star Claymore Cryo character for free-to-play action RPG Genshin Impact.
A descendant of the infamous Lawrence clan who once ruled over Mondstadt with an iron fist with the rest of the aristocracy, she is almost divorced from the sins of her ancestors. She joined the Knights of Favonius, the very knights that formed after the aristocracy was overthrown.
After a few drinks with a stranger, the “Spindrift Knight” and captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company reveals that she still seeks revenge. Despite fighting against the discrimination of her ancestors (even being denied food), she seeks vengeance against the descendants of the Gunnhildr and Ragnvindr clans that overthrew the Lawrence clan.
While she has spoken brusquely to those who have scorned her; she has shown kindness and honor as a knight. This has blurred the lines of how or if she will go about her revenge.

For those confused, Japanese and Chinese cultures have a saying where sneezing is caused by someone talking about you; akin to the western saying of your ears burning.
The five-star Claymore-wielding Cryo user is said to be a great strategist with courage and intuition to boot. Grand Master Varka even says she is on par with the Dandelion Knight- Jean Gunnhildr.
Eula is a burst damage dealer. Her Elemental Skill build stacks of “Grimheart,” reducing the physical damage and the likelihood of interruption for a time. She can also spend these stacks to launch an AoE cryo attack that reduces foes’ defense and resistance.
Her Elemental Burst summons her Lightfall Sword, being charged as she uses normal attacks and Elemental Skill. After seven seconds, it explodes and deals physical damage based on the charge.
Eula will be available May 18th via the Born of the Ocean Swell Event Wish.
Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via the official website), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
