Systemic Reaction have released the Generation Zero Landfall update, adding a new faction to the post-apocalyptic Swedish countryside.
The Soviet Union has invaded, introducing two new robotic war machines for players to fight. These Soviet forces are hostile to both players and the FNIX machines, allowing you to exploit battles between enemy patrols. The update also adds some UI improvements, and revamps to the South Forest region.

This free update is accompanied by the Base Defense Pack DLC. This DLC pack adds some new traps and fortifications for your bases, including grenade launcher pillboxes, sandbag defenses, and spiked walls. The Base Defense Pack is available for $3.99.
