Pokémon GO has been updated with a bevy of new content, chief among which is the addition of Pokemon from the second generation of the series: Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.

Featured above, you can view a trailer introducing some of the new critters you can track down and hopefully catch, including Pichu, Togepi, and more. Niantic also made a note saying Pichu and Togepi will both hatch from eggs as well.

Finally, Niantic confirmed that a Christmas Pikachu event has launched. From now until 10AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern on December 29th, a limited edition Pikachu will appear round the world. Donning a Santa hat, this will apparently be the only time you can get said version of the electric mouse.
