Gearbox Wants to Know How Much You Care About the Homeworld Franchise

It’s no secret that Gearbox Software bought the Homeworld property from the now shuttered publisher THQ, who was desperately trying to stay afloat by selling off assets to interested parties.

Well soon afterwards, the former members of Relic Entertainment gave their blessing to Gearbox in regards to continuing the franchise, while also releasing some old assets as well.

Gearbox seems to be taking their investment with Homeworld very seriously, as they have HD version of both Homeworld and Homeworld 2 planned, and they apparently might have something else up their sleeves:

If you complete the survey, you’ll notice a good amount of questions are in regards to whether or not they should include a collector’s edition, and an art booklet.

Currently, the individual HD remakes will cost $15 dollars each, but please take some time to let them know whether or not you want that sweet collector’s edition!
