GameStop has announced they’ve picked up the publishing duties for games from developers Tequila Works, Ready at Dawn, and Frozenbyte.
While Ready at Dawn is known for their recent PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886, Tequila Works has been stuck in development limbo with their PlayStation 4 game Rime, and Frozenbyte is mostly known for their Trine series.
GameStop’s new GameTrust publishing division will be handling all of the publishing duties for the games. According to MCV UK, this is purely a financial investment into said companies and games, with GameStop reportedly having now editorial control over the games – developers even keep full rights to their IP.
