G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout

GameMill Entertainment (Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 Grand Prix) have announced co-op and PvP team-based third-person shooter G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout.

IGN reports players will be able to control 12 characters across the G.I. Joes and Cobra Commander’s forces; including Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander himself, Destro, Roadblock, and Storm Shadow. There will be an 18-mission campaign based on the 80s comic series, that can be played in single player and local split-screen co-op.

There will will also be PvP multiplayer modes. These include Capture the Flag, Assault, and King of the Hill. IGN also speculates that the game may be based on other “hero shooters,” with each character having unique powers, customizable weapons, and customizable skins.
