Japanese publisher FuRyu has revealed (via Ryokutya2089) a new game in the latest issue of V-Jump.

The new Gemdrops-developed game is an action RPG for PlayStation 4 titled simply Crystar. A release is set for October 18th, with a price set at 7,980 yen. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the game.

The game has former Key scenario writer Naoki Hisaya penning the story, which is focused on Rei, a young girl stuck in limbo after killing her younger sister. Following this, she becomes embattled with monsters as a minion of the devil, utilizing her tears as a weapon to reap their souls and complete her new deal with the devil.

As Rei battles through the afterlife, she fights to get to the lowest portion of the twisted land to reach where the souls of the dead roam. Crying in the afterlife will purify a souls last moments. As Rei cleanses more tortured souls, they fuel her mental prowess, furthering her progress.

Further details weren’t confirmed. For now, you can visit the game’s official teaser site here.
