Further Development on Total War: Three Kingdoms Ended, Team Moves on to New Project

Total War: Three Kingdoms

Creative Assembly have announced that development on Total War: Three Kingdoms has ended, and the team have been transferred to a new project.

Total War: Three Kingdoms originally released in May 2019, and has since spawned seven DLC packs and numerous patches, updates, and content packs. However, Creative Assembly have announced that further development on the game has ended, with the final patch being the recent 1.7.1 update.

The development team has now begun pre-production on a new project that is based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms; though it will not be connected or tied to Total War: Three Kingdoms.

Will you build powerful friendships, form brotherly alliances, and earn the respect of your many foes? Or would you rather commit acts of treachery, inflict heart-wrenching betrayals, and become a master of grand political intrigue?

Your legend is yet to be written, but one thing is certain: glorious conquest awaits.
