Making video games is hard, and this seems to be something Frontiers creator Lars Simkins realized when he announced that the game would miss its planned release date.
Instead of having a solid release date, Lars confirmed that the game would be published “when it’s done.” The Kickstarter campaign for the game raised $157,381 last year.
Currently, the game is only 75% complete. Simkins elaborated on the announcement:
“If you look at the backers calendar, you can see what’s left; it’s not a trivial amount of work. I’m not going to set a new deadline, either. I’m just going to say — this is hard for me — I’m just going to say that it’s going to be done when it’s done.”
We’ll keep you guys posted.
