Ultimate Games and Mercat Games have announced Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean, an upcoming stealth strategy game set on the high seas.

Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean releases in 2023 for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will have a free demo on Steam during the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

In Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean, players control a ragtag band of misfit swashbucklers trying to track down a legendary treasure before the British Navy can find it.

The game is structured similarly to Desperados III or War Mongrels, where you sneak around silently taking down unsuspecting guards on your way to your objective. Each member of your motley crew has their own selection of special skills and abilities that can be chained together to elaborately take down patrols before they can alert the other guards.

Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean is a challenging Real-Time Tactics stealth game set in the intriguing realm of pirates.
