    Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has managed to surpass other popular shows such as Oshi no Ko as anime website MyAnimeList has determined it to have been the top anime of the year.

    The website compiled the top 10 anime of 2023 going by each show’s “score”, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End took the top spot.


    In comparison, fan favorite Oshi no Ko only made third place. Sequel seasons of shows were apparently excluded for the sake of variety.
