Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice Delta, and Over My Dead Body 2 (Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke 2) are all coming to North America and Europe.
The first game to come westward is Soul Sacrifice Delta, which is confirmed for a May 13th release in North America and on May 14th in Europe. The game was launched in Japan last month, and it’s described as an extended cut of the original game. The game comes with graphical and gameplay tweaks and improvements, new levels, spells, characters, and a new faction – the Grim. Also added is the option to choose the “Fate” option, alongside the “Save” or “Sacrifice” options seen in the original.
Freedom Wars, the ambitious new action RPG from SCE Japan Studio, God Eater developer Shift, and Dimps, puts players into a near future world where everyone is given a harsh sentence within a giant penal colony. In order to reduce your sentence, you must complete missions, and fight your way to freedom. The release date for Freedom Wars is set for sometime later this year.
Last but not least, Over My Dead Body 2, or as it’s being named in the West, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. The game has also been confirmed for a Western release, although a date or window was not given. In the game, you control an ancient Japanese clan whose bloodline is cursed with a lifespan of two years. You’re in charge of leading the clan on a quest to life their curse, preserve their fate, and get the help of gods inspired by Japanese mythology, making sure that each generation of the clan is more successful than the last.
