We’ve known about Freedom Wars for awhile, but we haven’t known who is really developing the game, at least other than Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

In a new reveal from Famitsu.com, we finally learned the other developers helping SCEJ in their production of the game – yes the game has several developers – Shift and Dimps.

Shift is most known for their work on the God Eater franchise (it’s clear to see their influence in Freedom Wars), and Dimps, who are mostly known for their work on Street Fighter IV – both of which are working with SCEJ to develop the game.

Famitsu also gave us a look at two new characters, Aries M (left), the woman that guides the protagonist, who is enshrouded in mystery, and Uwe Cabrera (right), the proud veteran warrior.
