Sekai Project and developer Fallen Snow Studios have announced the release date for Lucid9: Inciting Incident.

The upcoming first entry in their free-to-play visual novel series will launch on April 14th, for PC and Mac. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the mystery-filled visual novel adventure, which shows off its voice cast.

Lucid9 is set in the fictional metropolis of Isamu, where players take the role of Yama Ishimoto, a cynical high schooler who is forced into investigating the recent string of disappearances in his school.

Fallen Snow Studios is an international group of developers and visual novel enthusiasts who have created Lucid9 as a tribute to the genre, and are releasing it for free to help get more people into the genre.
