Free-to-Play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite Announced, Launches March 20

The latest V-Jump (via Ryokutya2089) has revealed a new free-to-play version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

The new version is titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite, and is planned for a PlayStation 4 release on March 20th in Japan and the west (western release confirmed via the PS Blog). It remains to be seen if this new free-to-play version is coming to PC, Xbox One, or Switch.


Players will be able to experience the beginning of the game’s story mode, as well as online battles, all of the Hero Colosseum, Parallel Quests, Photo Mode, and My Raids. Any save data from the free version can be naturally transferred to the full game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.
