It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything from Psychoz Interactive, the studio behind Forgotten Memories. Now, we’ve learned the game’s console release is being re-envisioned as a full-blown Director’s Cut.
The developer confirmed the Director’s Cut for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita sometime in early 2016. “We’re currently working on a director’s cut version for the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita versions. We are also working on the Android and Steam versions.”
“We are making subtitles in others languages, adding new game modes, creating new riddles and others exciting stuff.”
Fans who expected the previously mentioned Wii U version will have to wait a bit longer, however. “Guys, Wii U version will eventually come, we are now focusing on Sony consoles first, then Steam, Wii U, and Android will follow,” said the developer.
Forgotten Memories puts the player into the role of Rose Hawkins, a woman in search of a lost girl in an abandoned asylum. Guy Cihi, the voice of James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2, plays a role in the game as well.
