    Foreign games such as Honkai: Star Rail and Goddess of Victory: Nikke have experienced the most revenue growth in Japan for the year of 2023.

    Sensor Tower Japan provided various charts and analytics regarding the titles and publishers that accrued the most revenue growth from January 2023 to December 2023.


    Foreign titles were the most successful with overall revenue growth, such as China’s miHoYo with Honkai: Star Rail and South Korea’s Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

    Here’s the chart depicting the top 10 mobile games with the highest revenue growth:

    Honkai: Star Rail‘s growth for 2023 exceeded $200 million, and Japan is one of the largest sources of revenue for the game.

    Japanese publishers also found success in regards to total revenue, but it is evident that foreign publishers are also amassing a presence in Japan.
