When it comes to the video game industry, things move incredibly fast while also moving extremely slow. Now, you are probably looking at that sentence and going, what the hell is this man talking about, has he lost his damn mind? Honestly, sometimes I ask myself that very question.
But when you think about it, that statement is true. Every week, we are spoiled by new games released, we no longer have to wait weeks or months for a brand-new AAA game.
We are in a golden age of gaming. When it comes to the slow aspect, waiting for a game that you are highly anticipating can feel like an eternity. This is the case for a lot of the games we previewed at PAX West 2022.
At PAX West 2022, we met with a lot of developers to check out a variety of interesting Indie and AAA titles. One of our meetings during PAX West was with Curve Games to preview a wide array of their upcoming titles.
During the meeting, we had the opportunity to check out From Space, Patch Quest, Among Ripples: Shallow Waters, Blooming Business, and For the King II. Since then, From Space and Patch Quest have been released and Blooming Business is set to release on May 23rd. Prior to Blooming Business‘ release, Curve Games will be focusing its attention on For the King II‘s Closed Beta.
If you are eagerly away For the King II‘s release, the For the King II‘s Closed Beta should give you an adequate taste. The closed beta will run from May 10th to May 16th, 10 AM PST. Here’s some more details:
