Roguelike RPG sequel For The King II has been announced, a direct sequel which improves upon the mechanics and stylings of the original 2018 game.
For The King II is planned to release sometime in 2023, for Windows PC (via Steam).
In For The King II and its predecessor, players take on the role of adventurers, choosing a class and loadout at the start of the game. Players are then placed on a hex-based map and are given a grant task to defeat some big boss. The overall gameplay loop is like a cooperative board game with many treasures and supplies not persisting between playthroughs.
