Floating builder game Flotsam hits full release in December

Stray Fawn Publishing and developer Pajama Llama Games announced a full release date for Flotsam, their floating and city building sim.

Flotsam is leaving early access and hitting full release on December 4th for Windows PC (via Steam and GOG) after a few years in early access.

Ahoy, drifters!

After years of floating, scavenging, and recycling, Flotsam is finally setting sail for its full 1.0 release!

We’re thrilled to announce that Flotsam 1.0 launches on December 4th!

This marks the biggest update yet, turning your floating garbage town into a thriving ocean community packed with new features, quests, and adventures.

What’s new in 1.0?

Here’s a glimpse at some of the major additions coming with this update:

  • Main Narrative Questline – Experience a full story campaign for the first time and discover the secrets of each character’s story.
  • Specialist Quests & New Characters – All specialists now have their own questlines, including new arrivals like the Chemist, Electrician, Birdkeeper, and Aquaculturist.
  • New Regions – Explore the dangerous Industry Zone and the eerie Polluted Woods, full of new resources and challenges.
  • Construction Upgrades – Add functional improvements to your buildings, from air filters that decrease pollution to Gas-bags that reduce weight.
  • Achievements & QoL Updates – A full set of achievements encourages exploring different ways to play, supported by smoother gameplay and many quality-of-life improvements.
