Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit leaked

Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit

A new pixel horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit has been leaked and confirmed by series creator Scott Cawthon.

The new game puts a fresh spin on the horror franchise, instead of using 3D assets like every game in the past, Into the Pit relies on detailed pixel art to show off its horror.

You can check out the leaked trailer below:

According to Reddit, the trailer was found on the YouTube channel for Mega Cat Studios (WrestleQuest) as “FNAF Sizzle – Private and Unlisted”, implying the trailer was meant to be kept under wraps for at least a little while longer.

Since the cat’s out of the bag (or ball pit in this case), series creator Scott Cawthon gave his blessing for fans to discuss the leak instead of trying to shut up any discussion, saying:

No need to keep it all hush-hush. It’s okay! Yes, I was trying to keep it a secret for a bit longer, but now that it’s out, that’s fine. This game has been in development for a really long time actually, and I’m really proud of the final product. It will be a 10th anniversary game! :)

The first Five Nights at Freddy’s released in August 2014, so we can maybe expect Into the Pit to release later this year.
