Japanese developer Imagineer has announced an English / Asian release for Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku, their new boxing game featuring the virtual idol.

The boxing game will launch for Switch on July 12th with English, Korean, Chinese, and other language support. The game was just released this spring in Japan.

A full western release for Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku isn’t confirmed, though it has been rated in a number of western regions – hinting a full western release is coming.

This title is a collaboration between “Fit Boxing,” a hit title that has shipped more than 2.5 million units worldwide, and Hatsune Miku, the globally popular virtual singer developed and marketed by Crypton Future Media, Inc.

The “Fit Boxing” series’ basic functionality, which allows users to exercise easily and effectively from the comfort of their own home, has been retained, but with Hatsune Miku’s unique design and presentation, and Miku Hatsune, Rin Kagamine, Len Kagamine, and Meguru Miku have been added as “partners” to exercise with the player. The “partners” who exercise with the player are Miku Hatsune, Rin Kagamine, Len Kagamine, and Luka Megurine.

Since the Japanese version was released in March 2024, the game has received favorable reviews, such as “I like the music so I won’t get bored with it,” and “the mixercise is fresh and fun. The game is available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, and the instructor’s voice is available in Chinese, Korean, and English.
