• Fist of the North Star Animator Suda Masami Passes Away at 77

    Legendary animator and character designer Suda Masami has passed away at 77. Suda is largely known for his work on Fist of the North Star, Slam Dunk, and many other titles.

    Suda’s death was reported on Twitter by fans and those who knew him personally such as actor Okuno Yusuke.

    Masami Suda was born in 1943 in Saitama Japan. He was and still is considered one of the largest influences on anime as a medium for his notable work on the series Fist of the North Star.
