Square Enix has announced the Japanese release window for Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S.
The Switch port for the latest in the Dragon Quest series is launching sometime next year in Japan – news confirmed at this year’s Jump Festa. Featured above, you can view a new teaser trailer for the Switch port.
Main additions in the Switch port of the game are optional Japanese voice-overs, which were not included in the original version, on PlayStation 4. Over two hundred characters, except for the main character, will have voice acting. Here’s the confirmed voice cast:
- Erik (voice by Kouki Uchiyama)
- Veronica (voice by Maaya Uchida)
- Serena (voice by Sora Amamiya)
- Sylvando (voice by Masaya Onosaka)
- Jade (voice by Ami Koshimizu)
- Rab (voice by Mugihito)
Further details weren’t confirmed, however new information will be shared on January 1st, as well as a live broadcast sometime in January.
