The highly anticipated mecha-action game HAWKEN was launched on Steam back in February last year, but sadly developers Adhesive Games went quiet after that. Later that year, the studio went bankrupt and now we’ve learned that publisher Meteor has sold the IP off to Reloaded Games.

The developers promised new information once the game’s forums are up and running:

“I’m pretty excited to *now* be able to announce that Reloaded Games is the new owner of Hawken. It’s a seriously great honor to be a part of the Hawken story, and I want to see it thrive. Once the forums are up we will post more information (they’ve been taking a lot longer than I was hoping).”

It’s worth mentioning this is the same Reloaded Games that picked up the online action game, APB, following its unsuccessful run under Realtime Worlds.

You can still get your hands on HAWKEN in its current form here on Steam, free of charge.
