Recently at PAX East, Dead by Daylight hosted their 9th anniversary livestream where we got a first look at the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) chapter.
Dead by Daylight has been ramping up their licensed chapters, including a Castlevania chapter, Junji Ito skins, and more. A Five Nights at Freddy’s chapter was announced previously and fans have been asking for it for years.
The new chapter includes a new killer, William Afton as Springtrap (The Animatronic). Springtrap will release with a legendary “Yellow Rabbit” skin featuring voice lines by Matthew Lillard who played William Afton in the movie. The chapter will also include a new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria map.
Dead by Daylight also announced a host of new changes to better improve player quality of life. This includes bug fixes, item changes, an MMR revamp, and more. Behaviour announced their intention going forward is to “respect the player’s time”.
They also teased that there will be a new item available for survivors. Presently the available items for survivors to bring into matches has remained relatively consistent. With the exception of flashbangs and fireworks it’s mostly been the same.
