Square Enix confirmed a few new characters alongside the voice cast for NieR: Automata recently, however the publisher also showed off the first live gameplay demonstration for the upcoming Platinum Games-developed game.

Featured below, you can view roughly ten minutes of gameplay for the game. The game is developed mostly by Platinum Games, so their penchant for a highly-stylized combat system is even more prevalent in this walkthrough.

During the livestream, the developers said they’re aiming to have the game run at 60FPS, and at a 1080p resolution.
