After lots of teasing, it seems that Half Minute Hero 2 is finally confirmed for an English language release in North America. Unfortunately for all you Playstation Portable and Playstation Vita owners, Marvelous AQL is only bringing the game to Western gamers on PC, via Steam. While a release date was not confirmed, we should be hearing about one very soon.
The game will have full support for all of Steam’s features, like being able to use the in-game map maker and share the maps you’ve created with other players all over the world. You can even vote on the worthiness of maps that were created by other players.
Half Minute Hero 2 will also be coming with four player multiplayer, complete with lobbies, and an improved Goddess Room that is heavily improved over the one seen in the original, which launched on PSP. The game will also see all of the classic modes return in the sequel, as well as a few other additions in the Steam release.
Regarding a PSP or Vita release, that pretty much seems out of the question at this point, so be happy with the fact that the game is coming over at all. A price was not confirmed either, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
