Sega has published the first chapter in a new four-part Sonic Forces digital comic series.

The new comic series is scripted by Ian Flynn, and is positioned as a prequel to the coming video game. The first chapter, “Moment of Truth,” puts a focus on the Custom Hero player character and Chaotix as they ready themselves to fight Dr. Eggman and his sinister robot army.

The second chapter will be released later this month.

Sonic Forces launches on November 7th in North America and Europe across PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. The precursor to Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania, is available now for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
