PC hardware and peripheral manufacturer Thermaltake has been known for their focus on cooling systems for hardware – now they’re taking their cooling pedigree and applying it to your actual desk, as they’ve announced some ridiculously high-end gaming chairs.

The new X Comfort Air seat is being positioned as the world’s first air cooled professional gaming chair. Thermaltake notes that it uses “state-of-the-art air-cooling design tech with optimized aerodynamics.” This is made possible by four five-blade fans that are mounted in the base of the chair, and they’re rated for 75,000 hours of use.

The fans will blow air up your keister through the breathable mesh cloth material, which is entwined with the PVC leather. There’s a three button controller that lets you toggle the fans off or on, and via three speeds of 1,530rpm, 3,600rpm, and the maximum 5,100rpm. Finally a solution to gamers that are plagued by swamp ass during extended gaming sessions!

It’s worth pointing out the chair is based on their Comfort Line of chairs, meaning you’ll get the same features like class-four piston for height adjustment, 160-degrees of back adjustment, five-star aluminum base, and three-inch caster wheels.

The new X Comfort Air is available in black or black red, and costs $499.99.
