Myst developer Cyan has finally announced a release date for Firmament, their new virtual reality-supported game.
Firmament is launching on May 18th for Windows PC and Mac (via Steam), and will support both 2D displays and virtual reality headsets. Ports for PS4, PS5, and PlayStation VR2 are coming later.

- TECHNICAL DETAILS – Built For Both VR and 2D Displays. Firmament supports both 2D and VR play. The VR experience of Firmament includes both Free Roam and Teleport modes, and supports Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Rift S, and Quest 2 via Oculus Link. Additionally, Firmament includes many “comfort level” features for both new and experienced VR users, including the option to enable smooth or snap turning, quick travel up stairs and ladders, vertical height quantization, and more!
