We’ve learned that Firefly Studios have filed a trademark for what could be a new Stronghold game.

The new mark (via NeoGAF) was filed over under the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, and is for a game named “Stronghold Castles.”

The mark was filed under a few classifications, the most notable being class 9, for “Computer software; computer games software; computer games; computer games,” among other things.

The developer’s latest game in the Stronghold series, Stronghold: Crusader 2, has been available on Steam. Firefly Studios teased a new, “traditional” Stronghold game for PC. Could this new mark be for their new, traditional game?
