Nintendo’s second-quarter financial report has revealed Fire Emblem: Three Houses has sold over 2.29 million copies.

For comparison Fire Emblem Awakening sold over 2.28 million by the end of 2018 from its release in 2012, and Fire Emblem Fates (the current best seller in the franchise’ history) sold 2.94 million copies by the end of 2018 since 2015. However it should be mentioned Fates had three versions, which could contribute to extra sales if some bought multiple versions.

Due to how quickly Three Houses has hit similar numbers in a mere three months, and it seems likely the game will become the best selling in the franchise’ history.
