A new interview with Famitsu has revealed some interesting tidbits regarding the post-launch support for Square Enix’s upcoming RPG, Final Fantasy XV.

While the game already has six various packs of downloadable content, some of which allowing you to play as Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto, the new interview confirms game director Hajime Tabata has plans for even more DLC.

Tabata said that development on the downloadable content is being held off until the base game is finished, because of the recently announced delay. Things got very interesting when Famitsu asked if there would be further DLC, after the currently announced six volumes.

Tabata said that while the current six episodes are definitely being made, there are potential plans for more. However, if this DLC were to be made, it would not be included in the current season pass for the game – meaning fans would have to purchase them separately.

Finally, Tabata confirmed that alternate costumes and even virtual reality content might be created, as there are plans for that. For now, the team is focusing on polishing the core game, after which they’ll focus heavily on post-launch content.
