Final Fantasy XV DLC “Episode Ardyn” Set for March 2019 Release

Square Enix has confirmed the release window for the “Episode Ardyn” DLC planned for Final Fantasy XV.

The last story DLC for the game will launch sometime in March of next year. Alongside the new content is an animated short, titled “Episode Ardyn – Prologue,” which Square is noting will act as a prologue of sorts. The prologue will explain why Ardyn became obsessed with revenge.

Alongside the news of “Episode Ardyn” releasing in March is that the other story DLCs, “Episode Aranea,” “Episode Lunafreya,” and “Episode Noctis”, have all been cancelled, and game director Hajime Tabata has resigned from Square Enix.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you should check out our written and video review for the game here.
