The upcoming “Valentione’s Day” event in Final Fantasy XIV will begin next week, and it features new cosmetic goodies for players.

Starting on February 1, players will be able to take part in a time-limited quest taking place during the fictional Valentione’s Day holiday.

Valentione’s Day (in case it wasn’t obvious) is based off of the real world Valentine’s Day except set in the fictional world of Final Fantasy XIV.

Players who take part in the quest will get a new “Valentione’s Emissary” outfit, the “Eat Chocolate” emote, and a heart-shaped desk for players with in-game housing.

Certain items from previous years will also be available.

If you can’t make it online during the event, cosmetics from past holiday events are usually made available through the cash shop a year after their in-game debut.

The Valentione’s Day event in Final Fantasy XIV will take place from February 1 to February 15, you can find out more details on the official event site here.
