Final Fantasy XIV Reaper Wine Announced

Final Fantasy XIV Reaper Wine

Square Enix announced a new Final Fantasy XIV Reaper wine, themed after the new Endwalker expansion Reaper class.

The new Final Fantasy XIV Reaper wine is listed over on the Mood Mark online store for 12,100 yen (roughly $106 USD). Unfortunately, as these promotional offerings tend to be limited, it’s already on backorder – however Square noted they’ll have it available on their online store later.

Shipments will go out sometime after March 1, 2022, however it also remains unclear if this will be offered outside of Japan as again – these promotional offerings are usually very limited. The box features artwork of the Reaper class in front of the moon, and has the iconic phrase “This is our future. Our story” emblazoned on it.

The new wine is being produced by California wine maker Prisoner Wine Company and contains their “The Prisoner” vintage, their most popular red blend.

It’s described as a blend inspired by the “mixed blacks” first made by the original Italian settlers in Napa Valley, and is a mix of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah and Charbono.

Tasting notes are described as a mix of ripe raspberries, boysenberries, pomegranate, and vanilla flavors with an attractive aroma comprised of American cherry, dark chocolate, cloves, and roasted figs.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for Windows PC, Mac (via the SE Store, and Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and still planned for Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can find our Endwalker expansion review here (we can’t recommend it enough!).
