• Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.3 Defenders of Eorzea is Revealed

    Square Enix has revealed the first major patch for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

    Patch 2.3, or as they’re dubbing it, “Defenders of Eorzea,” will see the adventurers of the PC, PS3, and PS4 MMORPG fighting the primal battle against Ramuh, the lord of thunder and overlord of the sylphs. A new instanced dungeon named Hullbreaker Isle was also revealed, which sees the battle against the deadly Kraken, as well as the two hard mode dungeons Tam-Tara Deepcroft and Stone Vigil.

    Patch 2.3 will be preceded by patch 2.28, which will bring more bug fixes, and the ability to preview equipment, a much demanded feature. A release date for Defenders of Eorzea was not confirmed.
