Final Fantasy XIV Details Patch 3.1 Dungeons, Flying Mounts, and More

FFXIV 10-22-2015 - 11

The Lodestone has gone live with the information regarding the two new dungeons that will be seen come 3.1, and their both shaping up to be pretty neat.

The first of the two is a brand new addition to the dungeon list – Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum.

The Arboretum houses the greatest collection of flora and fauna the world had ever known, but it’s been long abandoned now. The plants and creatures living within have become dangerous, but it’s not going to stop treasure hunters from Idyllshire from trying to find the hidden treasures inside.

The second dungeon is Pharos Sirius (Hard), a revisit to the old lighthouse.

After banishing the Siren, work was commenced on the massive lighthouse to repair it. However, shortly thereafter a bunch of kobolds invaded the lighthouse, forcing the work to stop. This leaves Limsa Lominsa in a tough spot if they can’t drive off the kobolds.

Both dungeons will require a minimum item level of 170, as well as completion of Heavensward. In addition, Pharos Sirius (Hard) will require you to have cleared Pharos Sirius’ original quest “Why So Sirius”.

In addition to all of that, we’ve also been given a glimpse of a couple of the mounts that will be given the ability to fall come 3.1. The ones that we know of for sure (and are pictured below) are Two-seater Chocobos, Kirin, the Flying Ahriman, the Bomb Palanquin, Magitek Armors, and the Logistics Systems.

Patch 3.1 is set to hit sometime in November, but the specific date hasn’t been released yet.
