Square Enix has announced they’re shutting down free-to-play mobile battle royale game Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier.

The Final Fantasy VII spinoff is shutting down on January 11th, 2023 at midnight Pacific / 3 AM Eastern. The game has removed the premium Shinra Credits from its in-game store, but any credits lingering in your inventory can be used before the game shuts down.

What’s more, support for the non-English versions of Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier released worldwide will be shut down on October 31st at 7 PM Pacific / 10 PM Eastern, after which the game will be playable in English only.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier has been available for iOS (via the App Store) and Android (via Google Play).
