Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III Launching “In The Next Three Years Or So”

We’ve learned that Square Enix is still avoiding firming up the release windows for both the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III.

The news comes via Square Enix president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda, who confirmed both titles would release “in the next three years or so.” You can view his notes from the company’s fiscal year 2017 briefing here.

“This slide shows our release lineup for FY2017/3 as well as for FY2018/3 and beyond. We plan to launch each of these upcoming titles in the next three years or so,” Matsuda said.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced back in 2015, while Kingdom Hearts III was announced way back in 2013. Do you think either title will ever be released? Sound off in the comments below!
