Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets a New Soundtrack With Extra Songs on December 23

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Square Enix has announced yet another soundtrack release for the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

The game’s new soundtrack release, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Original Soundtrack Plus, is coming on December 23rd, 2020. The soundtrack will be available over on the official Square Enix website.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake has already got a robust soundtrack release soon after its release in the form of its base Original Soundtrack. That release offered seven discs with over 150 tracks and 8 hours of music – this new “Soundtrack Plus” includes new unreleased tracks over four discs, including songs from in-game scenes like cutscenes.

Pricing hasn’t been announced for the Original Soundtrack Plus, but if you buy it early you’ll get a bonus Mini Memo Pad, while supplies last.

In related news, the Final Fantasy VII Remake got its first post-launch update, after its worldwide release earlier this year, on April 10th. The update addressed some bugs, but not much else – you can read more about it here.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PlayStation 4, with console exclusivity ending April 4th, 2021. In case you missed it, you can find our review here.
