The Final Fantasy VII Remake 1.02 update is now available, enabling users to transfer their save data to the PS5 version of the game when it launches.
Specifically, while the Final Fantasy VII Remake 1.02 update is now available it’s focused on transferring save data to the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade release, a full PS5 port with separate Yuffie-themed DLC launching next week.
Furthermore, Square Enix confirmed five accessories and the Chocobo Chick, Cactuar and Carbuncle Summoning Materia will be released via the free Final Fantasy VII Remake Item Pack DLC day and date when Intergrade launches next week.
If you owned DLC items for the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake and decide to upgrade to the full PS5 version via the free enhancement upgrade, you’ll still need to download the free Final Fantasy VII Remake Item Pack in order to use them on PS5.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launches June 10th on PlayStation 5. Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, you can find our review here.
