Square Enix has announced the second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake project titled Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Fans can expect the game to release this winter on PlayStation 5.
Final Fantasy VII Remake originally released on the PlayStation 4 back in 2020. Since then we’ve seen the game come to next gen consoles with a PlayStation 5 release and eventually a PC release (both Epic Games Store and now Steam!)
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will continue from where the story left off in Remake and continue the story of Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, Aerith (Aeris?), and the rest of the game’s cast.

While the announcement for the game only covers a PlayStation 5 release, fans should remain hopeful that it will eventually come to PC at a later date similar to the way Remake did. Hopefully this time, it will come to Steam at the same time as EGS.
