According to a report from Nikkei, Final Fantasy Agito will be finally arriving on Japanese smart phones next month as a free download, while also having microtransactions for items and weapons.
We covered the reveal of the game in our original report, and we made a note of the fact that the game director, Hajime Tabata, confirmed that the game would be coming to Western mobile devices following its Japanese release.
Final Fantasy Agito is a companion/prequel of sorts to Final Fantasy Type-0, the much demanded but unfortunately never officially translated epic that saw a release on the Playstation Portable a few years ago. Thankfully, some fans are localizing that game later this year, but those who are waiting for Agito will have to be a little bit more patient.
