Fight The Dragon, Fund The Kickstarter

Though it’s my favorite type of RPG, you have to admit that the “rogue-like” sub-genre is starting to get a bit congested. While Australian developer “3 Sprockets” isn’t necessarily changing the gameplay mechanics in their own upcoming ARPG Fight the Dragon (The name alone should give that much away), they are adding one little feature you haven’t see much in this genre: A full-fledged construction kit.

One of the more impressive aspects of the construction kit is its ability to be used effectively with a gamepad, a feature that embodies the ease of use esthetic the developers seem to be going for. Further adding to the interest is the fact that the game has already been approved for steam and will be available DRM free in a humble store.

You can check out their kickstarter pitch below:

Stretch goals include a procedural dungeon system and a deathmatch style arena if the game hits $100,000. If you want to pledge to their kickstarter, you can do that here.
